About Me

I've worked in the heritage sector for over 10 years, including as Digital Content Manager at National Museums Scotland, where I lead on the content strategy and production across NMS' digital platforms and managed a (brilliant) team. Previously I was Digital Manager at Harewood House, where I project managed the NLHF funded Digital Masterplan.  At Leeds Museums & Galleries I implemented a new Social Media Strategy, and produced and hosted the Museums n'That podcast. I'm also a Trustee of the Bakewell and District Historical Society.

For the last 8 years I've been consulting for institutions like the National Library of Scotland, King's College London and North East Museums - from scoping projects, to training staff, evaluating workflows and editing/production support.

'What stood out from working with Meg was not just her solid digital knowledge, but a nuanced ability to understand people, and work strategically across a large, complex organisation. Meg was able to support our team at a very human level, and brought honesty, warmth and humour to our project. Our team was able to break new ground as Meg met every person where they were, and understood what they needed. I would thoroughly recommend working with Meg.'
